April meeting to share tips and ask questions

We realize the Arizona International Film Festival is underway and that many of you are participating in it, so we decided to carry on with an informal meeting. This is an opportunity to bring in questions, do a bit of trouble-shooting, and share tips, etc.

March Meeting: And now for something completely different.

Welcome to Access Tucson! The March meeting of the TUCFCPUG will be held at the Access Tucson studio facilities on Monday, March 16th.  Access Tucson was established as an independent, non-profit, membership based organization for the management of public access in 1984. Access Tucson provides the training and facilities for Tucsonans to communicate with the community. The facilities include two studios, three Final Cut Studio suites and six Final Cut Express stations. You will be granted an exclusive tour of the facilities and one of our members, Eric Heithaus, will do a little show and tell about his award winning music video project. Be sure to share any announcements or tips and tricks you may have!

February Meeting: Film Scores and the Editor

February 12th, 2009

The topic this month will be “The Film Score and How it Relates to the Editor”, presented by Kim Braun.

Kim Braun is a composer who has written concert music for over twenty years, and also writes film scores, orchestrations, and electronic music. She holds a bachelor’s degree in music composition from the College-Conservatory of Music in Cincinnati. More info and a demo available at www.kimbraun.com
